Meeting 3

Meeting 3 Minutes:

28/10/11

So far our progression in the group has been pretty successful.

Everybody is keeping up with their assigned tasks.

We now thanks to Andrew have a nice model of the guildhall made, and a springboard to commence further work.

This week in the group meeting, we attempted to refine our animation ideas further. Working from storyboard ideas we now have a basic idea of the direction we would like to take our work in and have managed to delegate tasks accordingly.

Andrew is continuing on with his modelling on the building.

Hong is working further on the environment around the building.

Stephen is going to re-draw and refine our storyboard ideas further. To begin to shape our final idea.

Jack is continuing to source materials for the interior and exterior of the guildhall, while researching potential animation techniques that we will use for our final product.

As a group we made an inventory of the elements we will need to model for the interior and began to delegate fairly a list for each person of what items/objects they will be modelling.

INITIAL ROUGH STORYBOARD IDEAS

Please find our preliminary storyboard ideas here.

Please Note: These are very basic ideas that will be developed and drawn up in much more detail.

I have just used this a basic platform, to develop our group ideas further.

Research and modelling guildhall

After the first meeting for the group project we decided to divide the group up and each work on a different thing as well as each coming up with ideas for the animation.

My task was to carry out some research into the group project. I only looked a bit at the history of the Guildhall as we decided not to create the animation about the history and looked more at what would be done during the Guildhall restoration. I also looked a bit at the Finchingfield village. I posted this research on my blog here.

After the second group meeting I continued to trace the floor plan and build the guildhall. I have written more about this on my blog here.
